Signalyst is a read-only investment dashboard: portfolio intelligence connects your holdings, market context and evidence to advisory review. It never places, prepares or transmits trades.

Deterministic analytics and AI

Portfolio calculations, valuation, performance and risk facts are calculated by application code. AI interprets supplied evidence, explains relationships and identifies uncertainty; it does not calculate authoritative portfolio totals or replace deterministic policy decisions. Insights retain sources and provenance so you can inspect the evidence behind an explanation. Missing observations remain unavailable, rather than becoming zero or an invented fact.

Market Context and Market wide

Market Context explains the selected portfolio’s move using aligned holding returns, market indicators and retained evidence. Market wide is a deterministic movement classification: the portfolio and broad indicator move in the same direction with sufficiently broad invested-value participation, without material residual outliers dominating the move. It describes a shared pattern, not proof that a news event caused the return. Generated possible explanations require cited publication evidence; broad market observations alone are context, not established causes.

Aligned daily history

Aligned daily history uses observations that share comparable dates. Market Context excludes holding returns with stale prices or dates different from its target date, and clears daily market indicator moves from other dates. It shows aligned holding count and invested-value coverage, with a caution below 80 percent coverage. Instrument and benchmark comparisons need shared trading dates, and completed daily bars exclude an unfinished current-day candle. Missing shared observations can leave relative returns, beta or correlation unavailable. Imported broker snapshots are not automatically treated as complete daily market valuations.

Daily valuation and data limitations

Daily portfolio valuation depends on reconciled holdings, prices, currency conversion and complete account records for the relevant dates. Missing or conflicting inputs can block a complete daily valuation. Incomplete ledger dates are excluded from adjacent-day return calculations; available concentration facts can still be shown. Manage → Data health explains the affected dates and inputs. A documentation explanation of a possible blocker does not prove that it applies to your account. Use authenticated Ask and your account’s current data-health evidence for that explanation.

Decision readiness

Decision readiness is a deterministic assessment of whether current evidence supports a decision. Ready and degraded evidence may be evaluated; incomplete or stale core valuation evidence blocks new Action evaluation. The indicator explains reasons, timestamps and affected instruments or currencies, and links to Manage → Data health. A broker snapshot’s age means holdings have not been confirmed since that date; age alone does not establish that the holdings changed.

Actions and stale evidence

Actions are advisory recommendations generated from portfolio analytics, risk facts, retained topic intelligence, instrument classifications and the effective investment profile. Each versioned evaluation retains its evidence cutoff, policy and coverage. A complete evaluation with no triggered rules is distinct from an evaluation with incomplete evidence.

An Action can become stale or invalid when its snapshot, topic evidence, classifications, profile, policy or expiry changes. The backend revalidates current evidence before accepting a proposal. Accept for review, Reject and Ignore record decisions and retain history; none executes an order. A recommendation is a prompt for human review, not a promise of an investment outcome.

Questions and evidence

Authenticated Ask answers questions using the selected account’s read-only context, including portfolio facts, activity, market signals, news, intelligence and retained Actions where relevant. Sources explain what supports a claim. Freshness timestamps and explicit limitations distinguish current observations, historical evidence and unavailable inputs. Public documentation explains product behavior but has no access to a visitor’s account and cannot explain their personal returns.
